Our Quad A-Accredited Surgical Facility

One of the most critical elements to consider when interested in plastic surgery is where your procedure will be performed. At The Aesthetic Institute of Chicago, our office is equipped with a state-of-the-art, on-site operating room accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (Quad A)—the “gold standard” of accreditation organizations.

To achieve this esteemed accreditation, our private, in-house facility must meet—and continually maintain—several strict conditions and standards of excellence set forth by Quad A. The following are simply a few of the numerous accreditation requirements that distinguish Quad A from other institutions:

  Surgeons must have hospital privileges for any surgical treatment they perform in the on-site operating room.

  An anesthesia professional must be present during surgery to perform deeper levels of anesthesia.
• 
  The operating facility must satisfy specific safety measures for medications, surgical equipment, and overall office setting.

  The operating room must maintain the same high standards to which hospitals are held.
• 
  The surgical facility must be peer-reviewed and continually gather inclusive surgical data for evaluation.
• 
  The facility must comply with all federal regulations and laws pertaining to operations.
